MEP Bernard Guetta: Why Trump’s Stance on Ukraine and Diesel is a 'Lie'

Veteran French journalist and MEP Bernard Guetta delivers a sharp critique of Donald Trump's influence on international relations. Guetta explicitly labels the former US President a "liar," refuting Trump's claims that President Zelensky and the Ukrainian resistance are the cause of high diesel prices, pointing instead to Trump's own history of geopolitical decisions. Guetta warns that the United States is becoming an unreliable ally under Trump’s rhetoric, particularly concerning the vital sharing of intelligence with Ukraine. He argues that without consistent American support, Ukraine’s position is dangerously weakened, and characterizes Trump's broader foreign policy as a threat to European stability.
