Israel PM: Flydubai Pilot Omani; US May Deploy 10,000 More Troops to Mideast

Israel's prime minister says the alleged Flydubai hijacker is Omani, though neither Flydubai nor the UAE government has confirmed the pilot's nationality. UAE prosecutors have ordered an investigation into the incident, while Benjamin Netanyahu says it is too early to determine whether Iran was involved. Flydubai has suspended flights to Tel Aviv as the incident puts cockpit security back in focus. Tensions across the Middle East remain elevated, with the US potentially deploying an additional aircraft carrier and 10,000 troops to the region. The developments underscore the volatile security situation and the potential for further escalation, with global implications.
