Netanyahu Calls for Probe into Anonymous Israeli Whistleblowers in Venice-Winning Gaza Doc 'NAZA'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has demanded an investigation into the anonymous sources featured in the award-winning documentary 'NAZA,' which recently won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. The film is built on testimony from 24 unnamed Israeli military whistleblowers who allege that the army killed numerous civilians in Gaza using AI-powered targeting systems. The call for a probe raises significant questions about whistleblower protections and the military's use of advanced technology in conflict zones. The documentary has already sparked intense debate, and Netanyahu's demand could lead to a formal inquiry into the identities and motivations of the sources. FRANCE 24 correspondent Noga Tarnopolsky provides details from Jerusalem on this developing story, which touches on issues of military transparency, freedom of the press, and the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
