Ken Paxton Partied in Dubai with Fugitives: WSJ Report

Texas Attorney General and GOP Senate candidate Ken Paxton was reportedly seen on video at a New Year's Eve 2024 party in Dubai alongside two US fugitives and a woman who was not his wife, according to a new report in the Wall Street Journal. The revelation has raised serious questions about Paxton's judgment and associations as he campaigns for the Senate. The report, broken by WSJ's Elizabeth Findell, details the Dubai gathering and its implications for Paxton's political career. CNN reporter Patrick Svitek provides analysis on the state of the Texas Senate race, while John Berman breaks down the latest polling numbers from Texas. The story has quickly become a talking point in the competitive race. Paxton, who has faced numerous legal and ethical controversies in the past, now confronts fresh scrutiny over his personal conduct and choice of company. The presence of fugitives at the party could complicate his campaign narrative. As the race heats up, this report may influence voter perceptions and the broader political landscape in Texas.
