Meet ChonkBot: The AI Robot That Cleans Your Floors

In this video, we take our floor-cleaning robot, affectionately called ChonkBot, and give it a brain. Using the Sourccey bot from Vulcan Robotics as our hardware platform, we dive into the process of imbuing it with intelligence so it can autonomously clean our floors. The journey involves integrating neural networks and control logic, all built from scratch. You'll see how we approach the challenge of making a robust, reliable cleaning robot that can navigate and operate in a real home environment. We also discuss the underlying principles of neural networks and how they enable the robot to perceive its surroundings and make decisions. The video highlights the practical steps of taking a commercial robot base and customizing it with our own software stack. Whether you're interested in robotics, AI, or just want to see a chonky robot do chores, this video has something for you.
