EU Condemns Second Settler Attack in Two Days on European Delegation

The European Union has condemned an attack on people including a European delegation by Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank. Witnesses say the group was visiting the area when they were targeted by masked men. Israel says the attack is unverified. The incident is the second settler attack in as many days, following an attack on Friday that left a Washington Post photographer hospitalized after settlers disrupted a Palestinian olive harvest. The EU's condemnation underscores growing international concern over settler violence. This DW News report includes a French mayor describing the assault in the West Bank and examines the broader implications for Israeli-Palestinian tensions and EU-Israel relations.
