Meet the Press: Exclusive Interviews with Abdul El-Sayed & Sen. Thom Tillis

In this full episode of Meet the Press, host Kristen Welker sits down with two key newsmakers: Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and North Carolina Republican Senator Thom Tillis. El-Sayed discusses his campaign and his recent walk-back of past criticism of former President Obama, while Tillis offers his perspective on the latest political developments in Washington. The program also features an in-depth conversation with author Michael Lewis about his new book, which delves into the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and its implications. Lewis shares insights from his research and discusses the broader impact of this initiative. Rounding out the episode, a distinguished roundtable joins Welker to analyze the week's top stories. The panel includes Stephen Hayes, former Secretary Jeh Johnson, and Amna Nawaz, who provide diverse viewpoints on the political landscape, national security, and the upcoming midterm elections. As always, Meet the Press delivers comprehensive coverage and thoughtful analysis of the issues shaping the nation.
