Trump Goes Off-Script at Final Midterm Rallies, Comments on Candidates' Physiques

In the final stretch before the midterm elections, President Donald Trump used his closing rally appearances on behalf of Republican candidates to repeatedly comment on the physical appearance of male candidates, veering away from the policy message his party had hoped to emphasize. The off-message remarks drew immediate attention and raised questions about how they might land with voters heading to the polls. USA Today White House correspondent Francesca Chambers, Republican strategist Mark Bednar and Taryn Rosenkranz, founder of New Blue Interactive, join the discussion to react to the president's comments and assess what they mean for the closing days of the campaign. The panel weighs how such remarks fit into the broader Republican midterm strategy and whether they help or distract from the party's final push. The conversation offers insight into the messaging battle unfolding across the country as candidates make their last appeals to voters.
